Running Moody today for time at Moss Field. Yesterday I did the 5 rounds of 20X squats, push ups, lunges, dips for time (33 minutes -- a slow first time, but I think I would have beat Eleanore). This is WORKING! Crossfit Kirkwood rocks! Check out their website:crossfitkirkwood.typepad.com

Did the 400/200/800/200 meter run with alternating lunges, SU,PU for time at Moss Field today. 23:20. so it wasn't "the Miracle at Moss," but a baseline from which to improve!

AMRAP 30 squats/20SU/10PU -- 20 minutes. 7.35 (improved .35 over 11/16)

My husband Bill joined me at Moss today for a Running Moody. I finished in 22:05, and he finished in 24:55. this was his maiden voyage with a WOD. Now he knows what the noise is all about! I am bringing him to the next date night and he'll be a CF rockstar in 2010!

Lumberjack WOD today in honor of FT. Hood Crossfit and families was tough. Appropos the "community" aspect of CFKW -- i want to thank Abby and Katie L. for their encouragement after the workout. It is the chance to see people so strong and hear about their progress that keeps me going! Pull ups w/o bands by 2011!
