

Nice overhead position by Kaysi, Monnie, and Ken-
Working on keeping the shoulder girdle tight, core locked, and biceps near the ears.
Our WOD today was:
20 BW deadlifts
Followed by 3 rounds of:
15 front squats
10 push jerks (or push press)
5 ring dips (or sub out elevated push ups)
20 BW deadlifts
Followed by another 3 rounds of:
15 front squats
10 push jerks
5 ring dips
20 BW DL

Twinkies today? :) Don dialed in on his deadlift, and Abby keeping the bar high on her shoulder, resting on her fingertips, AND getting deep for the front squats.
Christine in motion during the push jerk. She makes it look easy, I tell ya! Notice her hips quickly extending in the first pic before she pulls her body down in the second pic. Then she'll lock out before standing up with the bar overhead. Jump and land! Jump and land! :)
And, since we had such success last night on the rings, here are a few videos showing:
1. Inverted support and skin the cat (notice the "control" emphasis here)
2. Rich's girlfriend demonstrating a variety of ring push up options. (need to hand Rich a tissue when he watches Nicole...catch the drool...)
3. Our next challenge- inverted ring push ups (I can't even do full handstand push ups on the ground...what the heck?!)
